This was a party-hearty little Blues band I played bass with for a year or so circa 1979-80. I'm not sure where the odd moniker
"Codrak" Blues Band came from. I wonder if it could be something Celtic, as the front man for the group, shown here with
the vanilla Telecaster, was a wild Irishman fondly known as Dennis "So Much Beer So Little Time" Murphy, or just "Murph",
which resembled some of the noises he'd make when passed out after a gig. The lead guitarist, Kevin -something, (not pictured) was the
director or the local Humane Society and played an awsome blues guitar. He was wasted on those dogs. The mission of this band was,
unfortunately, oriented more toward beer consumption than music, and I wasn't really satisfied with that. (Murph's roomie was bartender
at one of the local venues we played, and their liquor gross went up 15% after he left!) I lost 10 pounds after I left the band. But there
were some fun gigs and we didn't do too shabby for a bunch of midwest white boys.
